Welcome to Kick-Off Friday! I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed time with family and friends. It's now time to put away those fall decorations and start bringing out the holiday cheer! This week I am sharing some ideas for DIY holiday decor.
1. Kimbo from
A Girl and a Glue Gun did a great job creating this burlap art work using a stencil and paint. I love how she added cute little buttons to the corners. Visit her
blog to see more info.
2. This Pottery Barn knock-off mirror by Jen from
Tatertots & Jello is awesome!! I love her mirror even more than Pottery Barn's version! Check out her
blog post here to see the details.
3. How fun are these ornaments made from chair spindles?? Such a creative idea--what a way to upcycle! Visit
Lolly Jane to see the before and after.
4. Lora posted this week about
creating clay chalkboards and I happened to find these cute clay tags being used for an advent calendar. I love the addition of the cute Baker's twine. Go to
Craftberry Bush to see how to create your own clay tags.
Bonus--If you are looking for a fun advent calendar idea, check out Lora's advent calendar post from last year
here.
Whether you are out holiday shopping or decorating your home, I hope you have a wonderful weekend! See you next week!
