A "Welcome"-ing Wreath // & Simple Wreath Updates

What if the wreath at your front door welcomed guests with a friendly "Hello"?

I mentioned it early in the fall; but I've been on a mission to create "new" wreaths with natural items {here are 15 beautiful examples} or by sprucing up a wreath that we already own.

On a trip to Michael's recently these cork letters were marked 75% off {they are part of a line called Raw Bar, and there were a lot of great items}. I chose the word "Hello" with the idea that they would make a simple banner that could be added to any season's wreath.

Each letter was attached to the twine using a hot glue gun and then I just tied the twine to the back of the wreath. Now it "welcomes" our guests at the front door :)

You might remember my simple wreath update from early October. Well, I took the same green wreath and spruced it up for Christmas.

It's just some garland, wrapped into a circle and layered with my basic green wreaths.

It doesn't get much easier than that.
