If you like to thrift, you know that there are so many beautiful books out there.
However, it's hard to justify buying more and more pretty books -- just to fill shelves. Of course, I could read them; but if I'm not reading them {guilty!}, then it seems wiser just to pass them up.
That is, before I saw some of these creative projects, anyway.
- I've seen people throw book themed parties -- like wedding showers, baby showers and birthdays. Wouldn't these "book"marks be the perfect party favor?

- The pages of books can be used in so many ways, and this botanical art is a large piece -- but for a low price.
- Vintage books have classic and beautifully simple covers. However, We probably don't own only vintage books; so let's just use them as the bookends, instead.
