One thing we haven't done often enough on this blog, is sharing some Etsy Love. We have a shop ourselves, and we love to buy from other crafters, but we haven't shared much about any of them here. Well, today I'm sharing a painting with you that's just too pretty not too share.
Mike's birthday falls in July and we had just found out we would be moving. So as a birthday and a special memento for us, I thought it would be neat to have a painting of our home. Especially since it is the first home we've owned together and where our little boy was born!
After searching Etsy for a bit, I ended up ordering from Lamanda Designs, and I am so happy with how it turned out. Lisa was so sweet and even sent a handwritten note attached to the print.
Lisa, along with two fellow artisans, create custom watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings. I purchased one of the Customized House Paintings, but they also do pet and family portraits.
I hope you'll go check out their shop! The quality was superb and we are already planning on purchasing another one of our new home. Not to mention, I'll be keeping this in mind as a great gift for a wedding, housewarming or just as a special memento.
