We served individual cups of veggie dip with assorted veggies in tea light candle holders. They were so fun to make! The trays the cups are on are actually made from picture frames with scrapbook paper. To add detail, I created a felt bow and bow tie and hot glued them to the end of the frames. I'll share how to make the felt decorations in a few weeks--they are so easy and cute!
Instead of serving the fruit in a bowl, we made fruit skewers that we served in a flower pot. We also used a carved watermelon baby buggy to serve extra fruit.
The desserts.....
- Dipped Marshmallows
- Dipped Oreos
- Dipped Pretzels
- Oreo Truffles
- Cupcakes
- Sugar Cookies (Bow Ties & Scallops)
To make the cupcake bow and bow tie toppers, I simply created a Word Doc with multiple images of the bows and bow ties. I then printed them and punched them out into a circle shape and hot glued them on toothpicks.
I also used the images to create food & drink labels and the name pendants for the individual drink bottles. Click on the links below to get the images to use for your own event.
To serve the candy, we also used tea light candle holders for each guest to fill up with candy of their choosing. We used picture frames and scrapbook paper to add the phrase "Take a Cup...Fill it up" to help guests know what the cups were for.
In the next few weeks, I'll be sharing about the decorations we used and the games that were played at the shower. Have a wonderful week!
