Today I'm going to share with you some ideas for organizing photos in your home. Hopefully these ideas will inspire you to have creative ways of organizing photos in your home. First up...photo boxes! If you're like me, you use traditional photo boxes to keep photos all together. To make the most of a photo box, use tabs or plastic containers to organize each photo set by topic. To add decoration to your boxes, try using colorful boxes such as these from The Container Store.
If you aren't into using photo boxes, try creating some photo books or albums. I love Young House Love's idea of creating yearly family yearbooks. It's a great way to keep all your photos from a year together. Other ideas include creating large or small binders that organize photos. Binders can also hold special items from events such as ticket stubs and more. Use website such as Blurb, Shutterfly, Snapfish, and more to create your own photo books or use paper and glue to make a homemade photo album or scrapbook.
Looking for a way to store your digital photos? How about organizing the CD's by year or creating a cover page for the CD with mini images of what pictures can be found on the disc. Use tabs to create labels and place CD's in cases and boxes.
If you're into using Instagram, print out those photos and make a fun and creative Instagram photo album! Want to share your photos with a friend? Make a pop-up accordion album to give as a personalized gift.
