Spring Spruce Up: Paint a Door

If you choose not to bring Spring weather, then I will just have to pretend.

Over the weekend I completed one of the final projects in our Entry Way -- which also happens to be a nice big dose of Spring happiness.

A freshly painted, blue front door.

You are also getting some glimpses of the gallery wall which is pretty well finished...

... and I will share more soon! The door is painted with Valspar Celebration Blue in Semi Gloss.

I like that it is a fresh blue with a little bit of "moody-ness" - but not so moody that it looks gray.

We bought a quart of the paint and I've already used it in a another spot too. It happens to be near our next big project - the deck. 

Now if only we can get some Spring weather -- to match my freshly painted front door -- and let us work out on our deck.
