I know I just chatted about Thanksgiving last week, but I realized I never shared the little guy's Halloween costume with you.
He's been very much into "Roar"ing lately {and, no, not because of Katy Perry} so it seemed fitting he dress up as a dinosaur -- a blue dinosaur if you ask him.
Yes, we've already dressed up once this year, as Mouseketeers; but since that was a family costume we still wanted him to have something special for Halloween.
I don't have a tutorial for you since it's my mom's hand-crafted work. I bought a basic blue sweatsuit and she did her sewing magic{as seen on patio cushions, in a vintage nursery, on a window seat and in a quilted state pillow.}
The green tail is attached to the inside of the sweatshirt with buttons. Since it is removable, this makes the sweatshirt easy to wash or wear by itself as a fun jacket.
Also, thank so much for supporting our first giveaway a couple weeks ago. We know that some people ran into problems commenting -- and we weren't able to figure out what was going wrong. In order to fix that we are hosting another giveaway, starting today. It is for the same prize -- two printables from our Etsy Shop. No need to comment, just enter through the Rafflecopter widget below {If you are reading this in email or a reader, you may have to click over to the actual post}. The Rafflecopter will give you an entry for liking us on Facebook {you can enter if you've already liked us on Facebook too!}. The giveaway will end Friday night, November 20, at midnight EST.
