DIY Candlestick Jewelry Stand

I'm so excited to share today's project! I've mentioned before in previous posts about my love for polka dots, especially gold ones (see here, here, and....here!) and I also recently shared that I am inspired by Kate Spade's colors and patterns. Kate Spade has many products that use gold polka dots in the print, like this phone case, watch, and place cards. Today, I'm going to show you a fun idea for a simple and inexpensive jewelry tray inspired by none other than...Kate Spade!

Here are the supplies you will need:

Supplies

1. 1 small bowl (from IKEA)
2. 1 small to medium size plate (from IKEA)
3. 1 candlestick (I used a glass one from the Dollar Tree)
4. Glass Adhesive (Amazon affiliate link)
5. Gold Metallic Paint Pen (Amazon affiliate link)

Step 1: Take your paint pen and draw small circles all over the bowl and the plate.

Step 2: Using your paint pen, outline the edges of the plate and the bowl.

Step 3: Using your glass adhesive, glue the top of the candlestick to the bottom of the bowl.

Step 4: Glue the bottom of the candlestick to the middle of the plate.

Step 5: Once the glue has dried, the fun begins! Start filling your jewelry tray with your favorite bracelets, necklaces, and more!

Not a fan of polka dots? No worries! You can make this jewelry tray with solid color plates (like this one), patterned plates (like this one), glass plates (like this one), or even with vintage plates (like this one)--the possibilities are endless!  I can't wait to make another one--maybe even for a gift for a sweet friend :)  Have a wonderful Wednesday!
