Welcome back to Kick-Off Friday! I hope all of you enjoyed the holidays and are ready to begin 2014. If you missed my year in review post on Wednesday, be sure to check it out here to see my favorite projects from this past year. I found some great projects this week and am eager to share them. Here we go!
1. I love this faux chalk art that Kelli created using a Sharpie. It turned out beautiful and what a great verse to have hanging in your home! Visit her blog Lolly Jane to see how you can create your own.
2. Camila did a great job creating this adorable pillow using pillow covers from IKEA and a paint marker. Check out her post here to see the other pillow she created as well.
3. Chalkboard bunting is becoming very popular as it something you can easily write on and use for any occasion. I love how Rach created her own bunting using chalk cloth and ribbon. Visit her blog, Family Ever After to see the step by step details.
4. Do you have old books just sitting around your house? If so, check out this post on Beyond the Picket Fence to see how you can create your own mail/magazine organizer using old books and fabric. So cute!
That's all for this week! Come back Monday to see week 2 of our 8-Week Organizing Challenge. If you missed Lora's post yesterday on her kitchen pantry project, check it out here. Have a wonderful weekend!
